There’s something about arcade games that makes players go nuts, especially their beat ’em up nature that fits the wild and fast-paced environment of the arcade. One such veteran that ruled the arcade was the Ninja Baseball Bat Man.
The game was released in 1993 worldwide and was developed and published by Irem studios in Japan. The best thing about this game was that it allowed up to 4 players to be able to play at a time and chose from a player of their liking. Out protagonists set out with a mission assigned to them by the Commissioner of Baseball which is the retrieval of various artefacts which were stolen from the baseball hall of fame.
The game allowed the use of commands to perform special combos and even use special moves that would beat all enemies on the screen in exchange for some part of the health. A simple attack and jump command made it all the more enjoyable.
After defeating each enemy, the players are treated with a bonus level which keeps their level of enthusiasm up. For an arcade game, it was one of those that were games that outperformed but failed to do so in other kits. Either way, it now rests in the archive of one of those games that will get you hyped and crazy before you knew it!
